MABR(Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reacto)
MABR (Membrane Aeration Bio Reactor) is a new water treatment process that combines gas separation membrane technology and biofilm method. Different from the traditional biofilm process, in the MABR process, BOD, COD and other substances diffuse from the liquid phase into the biofilm and gradually decrease, while DO gradually decreases from the liquid phase direction near the membrane, forming different biofilm layers on the membrane surface from inside to outside, which can achieve efficient simultaneous nitrification and denitrification in the same reactor.
The Ceraflo-MABR membrane adopts a PTFE hydrophobic oxygen transfer membrane with a nanofiber filler layer structure. During the oxygen transfer process, a large number of nano microbubbles are generated, which prolongs the residence time of oxygen in the water, improves the utilization rate of oxygen in the water, and greatly reduces energy consumption. The fiber packing layer coated on the outer layer can enhance the attachment ability of the biofilm, increase the area of the biofilm, and the biofilm has a good reverse distribution from the outside to the inside, greatly improving the effective utilization rate of carbon sources.
